MiSide: Zero is a fan made prequel and reimagining of the base MiSide story, with major rewrites to world mechanics, plotlines, and character arcs. It follows the blonde player from Beyond the World—nicknamed “Zero”—as he explores MiSide about a year before the events of the base game.

Fixes:
- Fixed the stuttering related to the player physics
- Fixed the camera not moving properly (this would happen especially in low-end computers)
- Fixed Mita sliding in the bed while standing up
- The Meal scene won't restart anymore after finishing it
- Fixed Mita's expressions breaking if switched the character too quickly in the main menu
Changes & Additions:
- You can now interact with the Left Click too
- Added a keybind screen in the main menu (can be found in the 'Controls' menu + can be shown in-game if you press [TAB])
- Added a FPS counter (toggleable by pressing [F] in-game)
- Slightly made the lighting brighter
- Made the player movement a little more consistent
- The 'MiSide Zero' logo in the main menu is now animated
- Added Mila in the Main Menu
- New Cappie soundtrack by Jer
- Added a level description in the beginning of the selected Mita
- Slightly improved the warning screen

Super excited for future updates!
This is absolutely the best MiSide fangame I've ever seen! The experience feels just like the original. Even though there's currently only one playable character, I can really tell the team put a lot of effort into the details—like how the in-game clock syncs with real-time. It's not just Long Hair Mita; seeing the protagonist have detailed facial expressions when speaking is great!
I do have one suggestion: would it be possible to implement 3D subtitles similar to the original game? That way, players wouldn't have to constantly look back and forth between the character's expressions and the subtitles at the bottom.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to more updates, more characters, and seeing the lore expanded! Also, I noticed a clip in the 'MiSide Zero Alpha Trailer' that looked like it was from a horror game—are you planning to add horror elements in the future? XD
and I have to say I am looking forward to more interactions! ABSOLUTELY perfect!

Seems both files have been quarantined so I'm hesitant to download this.
I am also someone who worries about malware, so I scanned it, and played it on something called 'sandboxie', assuming you have a pc, it lets you play or use things in windows that are boxed off (AKA makes viruses not be able to touch your pc) So I highly recommend downloading it. I scanned it on VT and got 100% safe results, tested in sandboxie, and I didn't have issues with performance (aka fps drops with overheating which could be a virus sign), but at ultra my fps stayed well above 180 fps and my pc temp stayed at around 50c for my gpu and cpu. I promise on my soul this is safe, and the effort is clearly a passion project, I doubt this much effort would go into malware anyways- Though if your still worried, you can safely play the whole alpha in sandboxie. Have a good day!

Would be nice to somehow be able to type in a name and not just zero, the graphics are nice but a ultrawide support for 5120 x 1440 would be even nicer.

A little late, but windows sees small EXES as malware due to either lack of downloads, or because an indie dev doesn't want to cough up dough to make it verified, first time I saw this warning when I got my pc my heart sank a bit. I played it with testing, its safe, dw. Though I will admit its odd itch itself stopped immediate downloading, but I'm confident its safe. If your worried you can use something called sandboxie to test this game safely.
I got this weird thing where my character is constantly moving to the left. As if Im holding down A all the time. I disconnected my peripherals and it kept doing it,
Hello, this is a known bug related to your controller.
Make sure to unplug it, and then restart the game.
Sadly it seems that is not a Controller bug.
The player is constantly moving to the right for me.

I did. I even unplugged my controller AND my keyboard. Same result. Don't know what it is. Still existing in the new update.
Oh yea I forgot... Even the slider in the menu (like controll sensitivity) is going straight to the right when I click on them. Trying to move them back ends up with the same behavior, that it's moving to the right.

I really wanted to play this, but when I launched it, I kept on having these color effects just like the original where green lines and texture kept appearing on the characters and certain objects. There was a color effect setting in MISIDE but not here. Messed around with the graphics but nothing. I'll start playing once there's a solution since I kinda want to experience it without the green lines.

i really like the game don't found any glich but i think one thing to complain here is the dialog subtitle are too fast i'm not that good at english so when i read the subtitle i need at lest about 3-5 sec to process in my language so i hope the subtitle would be slower and hold abit before next dialog or maybe make it so you need to click for the next dialog to appear i hope you will improve it when the game is out thank you 😊
Hi. This game is pretty peak overall, but there are minor issues. The curtains in the living room don't seem to be interactable despite being highlighted. On my second playthrough, I noticed that entering the kitchen while Mita is speaking prevents her from following the player even after the fridge is selected, and the kitchen door can't open. Hope you can fix these, and best of luck debugging!

Hi, I’m an aspiring YouTuber and I tried your game and I want to mention a few things you could fix and improve (not criticism ^^).
Some problems I noticed are that previous dialogues appear for a brief moment when starting a new one.
I found the conversations a bit too long; I know the game is made to provide explanations, but I felt it was a little lengthy (although this is just my personal taste).
I would like that, just like in the original game, when we cut the carrot it would be a mini-game and not a cinematic.
My PC isn’t very powerful, so I had to set the graphics to low, but one thing I noticed is that there’s no option to change the resolution.
All these comments are not meant to criticize the game; on the contrary, it left me very curious to see how it will continue, especially since it seems like you’ll be able to play as Mita Genial, Pelo Corto, and Dormilona.
This fanmade game is really interesting, and I hope that when the full version comes out, I can play it ^u^
